2017 Region 6 Future Stars Workshop #1

Click here for results from the 2016 Region 6 Future Stars Regional Qualifier

Workshop #1:  August 27th, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Sterling Academy of Gymnastics ($35/athlete)

Coaches:  Please come to this workout prepared to discuss the Future Stars Routines with the other coaches and athletes in your group.  The first future stars workshop should serve as a collaboration attempt to be sure that we, as a region, are all understanding the rules and applying them consistently.

To make this event as smooth as possible, it would be beneficial if all coaches have a means to view the newest future stars routines prior to and during the workout.

This workout will also serve as an opportunity to become familiar with the other coaches and athletes who will participate in the future stars program.

There will be no event specific clinicians at this workshop.  Coaches should be willing to direct their own athletes when they get to the respective events with the hopes of sharing ideas and interpretations of the updates with other coaches.

Any issues or rules discrepancies should be discussed at the workout, noted and brought up for further discussion via email or at the future stars clinic on September 18th.

All athletes should be in competition attire; bring your Black Region 6 shirt if you have one from regionals.  Coaches should wear collared shirts.
